Death Claims DeWitt Woman

Mrs. Hannah DRESSLER Dies Wednesday, September 8
at Her Home in DeWitt

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Hannah DRESSLER who died Wednesday, September 8, at her home in DeWitt, will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the home, with the Rev. G. A. Cox officiating. Interment will be made in Elmwood cemetery. The following will have charge of the floral offerings, Mrs. Clara Schlotfeldt, Mrs. James Birney, Mrs. Frank Kinney and Miss B. Kearney.

Hannah Ritz DRESSLER, was born October 8, 1861, at Mecklenborg Stralich, Germany. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl RIITZ. In 1869 she came with her parents to America, and settled in Rock Island, Ill., later they moved to Grand Mound, where they resided on a farm. On October 15, 1877 she was united in marriage to Peter DRESSLER. About thirteen years ago they moved to DeWitt, where they resided their entire life. Mr. DRESSLER died September 19, 1923. Left to mounr her death, are four children, Mrs. Anna MOHR, Bettendorf; John DRESSLER, Lost Nation; Albert DRESSLER, Choko, Minn. and Clarence DRESSLER, DeWitt, four grandchildren and two brothers, Earnest RIITZ and Andre RIITZ, Rock Island, Ill., and two sisters, Mrs. Henry HAHN, DeWitt, and Mrs. Rickey MELLOW, Rock Island, Ill., and also a host of friends and distant relatives.
