Services: 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Guilford, Ill., with the Rev. Barbara Rapp officiating.
ELIZABETH, Ill. — Dorothy Droegmiller, 95, of Elizabeth, died Thursday at the Elizabeth Nursing Home.
Burial will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Guilford, Ill.
She was born March 22, 1911, to James and Hattie Block Breed. She married Glenn H. Droegmiller on Aug. 23, 1939. He died in 1988.
She graduated from Freeport (Ill.) High School in 1929. She graduated from Illinois College, Jacksonville, Ill., in 1933.
She was taught in Pearl City, Ill., for one year; five years in Elizabeth and 15 years in Hanover, Ill. She also was a bookkeeper for 16 years with the Schwintz Chevrolet dealership, Elizabeth.
She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Schapville, Ill., and past member of the Ladies Aid at her church.
Survivors include one sister, Jean Noller of Stockton, Ill.; and other relatives.
