Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Prince of Peace Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Hennan officiaing.

CHANDLER, Ariz. — David L. Hinerichsen, 69, of Chandler and formerly of Clinton, died Sunday at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, Phoenix.

Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jack Tigh, Tom Pladna, Bob Eads, Jock Hendricks, Jack Struve and Paul Roth.

He was born Jan. 12, 1937, in Clinton to Lloyd and Florence Boisen Hinerichsen. He married Eleanor Lartz on July 21, 1956, in Savanna, Ill.

He was a 1956 graduate of Clinton High School.

He was employed with McEleney Motors for more than 38 years before retiring in 1992.

He was a member of the Sun Lakes, Ariz., Knights of Columbus and was a former member of the Clinton Country Club.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Brent (Joan) Hinerichsen of Ankeny; two daughters, Mrs. Kathy (Chris) Stewart of Miles and Mrs. Stacy (Jim) Baker of Clinton; six grandchildren; one brother, Denis (Nancy) Hinerichsen of Grimes; one sister, Mrs. Donna (Ralph) MacKenzie of San Diego; and several nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorials be made to the Prince of Peace Building Fund or the American Lung Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son.
