Marian A. Hartmann

Marian A. Hartmann, 92, of Clinton, died Friday at Hope Hospice House North in Cape Coral, Fla.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clinton. Burial will follow at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home.

She was born April 29, 1913, in Clinton to Leslie S. and Anna Hummelgaard McKinley. She married Christian Hartmann on April 3, 1935, in Clinton.

She was a 1930 graduate of Clinton High School.

She was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clinton Chapter 65 Order of the Eastern Star, where she was a Past Matron, Past Matrons Club, Elvira; Daughters of the Nile, Pyramid Temple 10; Clinton Niles Sewing Club; and P.E.O. Chapter FI.

Survivors include her daughter, Anna Lou Sonderman of North Fort Meyers, Fla.; sons, C. David Hartman of Annandale, Va., and James Hartmann of St. Paul, Minn.; four grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital or Hospice.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers.
