Bill D. Mink

Bill D. Mink, 72, of Camanche, died Saturday at his home. Memorial Services will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel, 2600 Lincolnway, Clinton, IA. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Father John Stack will officiate. Private burial will take place after the service. Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice.

He was born September 14, 1933, to Jasper and Bessie (Isom) Mink in Louisa County. He married Gerri Morrison on January 13, 1955, in San Gabriel, CA. Mr. Mink was a parts inspector and foreman for East Moline Metal for over 25 years. He was the former Vice President of American Bank & Trust Co. of Moline, IL, he did wood working and repairing clocks. He was a lifetime member of Amvets, he was a 32 degree mason of the Clinton Scottish Rite Bodies, he was a member of the Lyons Masonic Lodge #93 A.S. & A.M. and he served in the Air Force in the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Gerri; two sons Dave (Lynn) Mink, Don (Trina) Mink, both of Camanche, seven grandsons, a special friend Skeeter Schultz of Camanche.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Dean and Richard, and two brothers.
