Selma Brown

Selma Brown, 76, of Sabula, died Thursday at Mercy North Hospital.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Monday at Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2600 Lincoln Way. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 8, 1930, in Freeport, Ill., to William and Mary Ellen Ruthe Richter. She married Bruce Brown on April 16, 1950, in Clinton.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Cindy (Mike) Fullick of Sabula, Mrs. Amanda (Tim) Stuedemann of Ashland City, Tenn., Lisbeth Brown of Sabula and Mrs. Eliza (Aaron) Montgomery of Sabula; one son, Bruce Brown of Sabula; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Ellen Richter of Clinton and Mrs. Helen (Robert) Naeve of Fulton, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.
