CLINTON — Mary Bea Collins, 83, of Clinton, died Feb. 17 at the Alverno Health Care Facility, Clinton.
Memorial services will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Karl Nelson and Vicar Shannon Witt officiating. A funeral lunch will follow the service. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
She was born July 16, 1922, in Middletown, Ohio, to Charles Clarence and Gladys Avey Edson. She married Gordon E. Collins on March 9, 1946, in Mount Morris, Ill.; he died in 1992.
She was a 1940 graduate of Mount Morris High School and a 1944 graduate of Carthage College.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the mature youth group at the church. She also was a board member of Timber Lake Playhouse.
Survivors include sons, David E. (Jeanne) Collins of Coralville and Doug J. Collins and Dan A. (Jodi) Collins of Clinton; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Timber Lake Playhouse.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
