MR. CHARLES FORREST, who it was thought was fatally injured by the falling of a stick of timber upon him at a barn raising in Elk River Township, Clinton County, a few days ago, is thought to be in fair way to recover , though his restoration might be tediously slow. Dr. J. F. Fairbanks, of Sabula, informs us that his injuries are very severe, but not necessarily fatal, and that if the present favorable aspects of his case continues, he will recover.
