TORPEY FARMS SOLD

The farm in Berlin Township belonging to the estate of the late William Torpey, together with the adjoining 80 acre tract belonging to Mr. William Torpey, Jr., 240 acres in all, was sold last week to Mr. John Kuchel.

The purchase price was slightly in excess of $205.00 per acre, or $50,000.00 in round figures. The sale was made through the real estate agency of W. C. Rutenbeck of this city and is one of the big transactions of the year in Clinton County.
