Betty and George Busch will celebrate their 50th Anniversary on August 10th with a private family dinner. The public is invited to a reception from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Parlors in Charlotte.
The former Betty Jahn and George Busch were married on August 2, 1953, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Charlotte. Mr. Busch is retired and works part-time for ADM Trucking. Mrs. Busch is retired. She was church organist for 45 years.
They are the parents of Jim and Steven of Charlotte, Joan Simons of Stafford, Virginia and Gene of Canon City, Colorado. They have six grandchildren, Nicholas Busch (deceased), Jamie Busch, Ryan and Elizabeth Simons and Shawn & Chuck Busch. They also have one great-grandson, Brandon Holst.
