Henry and Lois Lamp to celebrate their 50th

Henry and Lois Lamp of Charlotte celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary on August 23rd. Because of health problems, no open house was held, but they would appreciate receiving cards. They may be sent to 1503 330th Ave. Charlotte, Iowa, 52731.
The former Lois Smith and Henry Lamp were married in Immanuel Lutheran Church of Charlotte on August 23, 1953. He is a Korean War veteran and began farming after his discharge from the service. She was a former meal site manager for the DeWitt Senior Citizens and was also employed at the Sarah Harding Home.
They are the parents of four children: Paula Bryant of Eldridge, Iowa; Penny Lamp of Arlington, Texas; Perry and Pete of Charlotte. Their grandchildren are Beth, Jennifer & Jamie Lamp of Charlotte and Hannah and Aaron Bryant of Eldridge. They have resided on their family farm for 50 years.
