Edward and Jane Butt of Baldwin are the parents of a son, Ben Michael, born July 26 at Jackson County Public Hospital, Maquoketa.
He weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.
Grandparents are Maurice and Alice Butt of Charlotte and Larry and Peg Stevens of Maquoketa.
Great-grandparents are Albert Eberhart of Charlotte, Mr. and Mrs. D.L. Stevens of Maquoketa and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Clausen of Goose Lake.
