The Clinton Herald Saturday April 13, 1996 p. 7 Grace Naughton of 747 Fifth Ave., S. will celebrate her 80th birthday with an open house reception from 3 to 7 p.m. April 20 at Kakomos, 134 Fifth Ave. S. Relatives and friends are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted. The former Grace Kruse was born March 26, 1916, in Sabula. She married Ty Naughton, July 27, 1940, in DeWitt. She is the mother of eight children; Mrs. Janell (Gary) Hughes and Mrs. Candace (Larry) Brennan, both of Camanche; Jane Goodwin and Tom and Jerry Naughton, all of Clinton; Mrs. Jeanne (Ed) Ward of Muskego, Wis.; and Lynn and Michelle, who are deceased. She has 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was employed with Nielsen Clearing House for many years, before retiring in 1972.
