The Clinton Herald Tuesday April 16, 1996 p. 5 Karl G. and Grete Maas of DeWitt will celebrate their 40th anniversary with a family dinner on Saturday. The former Grete Freese and Maas were married April 20, 1956, in DeWitt. They are the parents of three children; Mrs. Anke (Robert) Shreffler, Mrs. Birgit (Tom) Adams and Claus Maas, all of DeWitt. They have eight grandchildren.
