The Clinton Herald Tuesday January 30, 1996 p. 5 Leonard and Vernetta Peters of 4177 150th St., Clinton, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family gathering on Jan. 15. The former Vernetta Schepler and Mr. Peters were married June 15, 1936, in Clinton. The are the parents of three children: Mrs. Allen (Lavonne) Petersen of rural Goose Lake, Mrs. Lee (Eileen) Nation of Spriit Lake, Iowa; and Don of rural Clinton. They have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The couple still resides on the farm in Andover, where they have lived for 57 years.
