The Clinton Herald Tuesday November 11, 1997 p. 6 Doug and Elaine Lass, 816 Fifth Ave. South, are celebrating their 50th anniversary. A family dinner is being planned. The former Elaine Sites and Lass were married Nov. 15, 1947, in Clinton. They are the parents of a daughter, Lanie Lass of Champaign, Ill. He retired after 50 years of being self-employed with the insurance and real estate businiess. She retired after several years involved in child development and as owner of Jack and Jill Private Pre-school.
