The Clinton Herald Saturday October 11, 1997 p. 6 Elmer Luckritz of 90, 36th Ave. North, is celebrating his 85th birthday. An open house will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 19 in the Frontier Motor Inn. Relatives and friends are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted. He was born Oct. 13, 1912. He married Dorothy Vandament, Nov. 30, 1939. He is the father of two children; Lona Pillers of Clinton; and Robert Luckritz of Mountain Lakes, N.J. He has six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He is a 1930 graduate of Lyons High School. He learned the meat cutting trade from Francis Maase and was a meat cutter with Ernester's Grocery Store. In 1941, he went to work with E.I. DuPont, until retiring in 1976.
