The Clinton Herald Tuesday October 21, 1997 p. 5 Daniel and Lois Burken of Miles are celebrating their 25th anniversary. They have been invited to celebrate with their daughter, Jennifer, on her wedding day to James Jacobs. The reception will be from 4 to 8 p.m., followed by a dance from 8 p.m. to midnight Nov. 8 in the Preston Town Hall. Relatives and friends are invited. The former Lois Trenkamp and Burker were married Nov. 18, 1972, in Sugar Creek. They are the parents of four children: Jennifer Burkern of Orange City; and Corey, Adam and Susan Burken, all at home. He is employed with G.L. Stockham & Son in Maquoketa. She is employed with Collis Tool Corp. in Camanche. They also farm on their small acreage.
