The Clinton Herald Wednesday October 1, 1997 p. 10 John "Jack" and Marge Struve, 590 Scenic Drive, are celebrating their 50th anniversary. An open house will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 11 in Fulton Country Club, 20727 Cattail Road, Fulton, Ill. Relatives and friends are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted. The former Marjorie Goettsch and Struve were married Oct 11, 1947, in Clinton. The are the parents of two children: Tom Struve of Mount Vernon, and Mrs. Jaclyn (Steve) Patten of Rock Falls, Ill. The have two granddaughters. He is retired from McEleney Motors. She retired as a secretary with the Clinton Schools.
