The Clinton Herald Wednesday September 24, 1997 p. 5 Lois Dierks, 633 Third Ave. South, is celebrating her 80th birthday. She will be honored with a birthday card shower and family dinner. The former Lola Sander was born Oct. 9, 1917, near Lowden. She married Frank Milota, Aug. 17, 1938. He died in service in 1945. She later married Albert Dierks, March 23, 1953. She died Jan. 10, 1993. She resided in Charlotte most of her life. She is the mother of Mrs. Ruth Ann (Roy) Eubanks of Fairfield; Robert Milota of Davenport; Joe Milota of Oglesby, Ill.; Mrs. Sandra (Richard) Foster and Al J. Dierks both of Clinton; Tim Dierks of Chicago, and Jon, who is deceased. She has 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
