The Clinton Herald Monday April 2, 2001 p. 8A John P. and Maxine Totten of Clinton will celebrate their 60th anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. April 14 in the fireside room of the First United Methodist Church in Clinton. Relatives and friends are invited. It is requested that gifts be ommitted. The former Maxine Helfrich and Totten were married April 13, 1941, in Clinton. They are the parents of five children, Mrs. Janice (Ronald) Determan of Las Vegas, Nev., Mrs. Barbara (Kevin) Chase of Clinton, Mrs. Jane (Richard) Krongard of Vienna, W.Va., John D. Totten of Clinton and Mrs. Brenda (Kent) Lewis of Pickerington, Ohio. The have 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was employed as a home building contractor. She is a housewife.
