She married Earl Schluns on Sept. 10, 1947. She is the mother of 17 children, Linda Dietrick of Brodsheadville, Pa. Don Schluns of Washington, Patty Kitchen of Katy, Texas, Mary Crider of Clinton, Ann White of Clinton, LaVonne Thompson of Clinton, John Schluns of Clinton, Jane Carolous of Texas, Marueen Voss of Bloomsfield, Colo., Theresa Whealon of New Jersey, Leonard Schluns of Connecticut, Marty Schluns of Ohio, Robert Schluns of Roscoe, Ill., Julie DeValois of Colorado, Katie Watt of New Jersey, Lisa Luft of Des Moines and Janice DeFries of Mechanicsville. She has 42 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
