Mr. and Mrs. George Russ, Wheatland, will celebrate their silver wedding anniversary with a reception from 7:30 to 9 and dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. July 14 at Bennett Community Hall, Bennett, Iowa.

The former Bethel Klahn and Mr. Russ were married July 12, 1959, in St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Wheatland. Russ is employed at Caterpillar Tractor. Mrs. Russ is an employee of Thiesen’s in Tipton. They are parents of Mrs. Gary (Linda) Oliphant of Rowley, Iowa, and David and Joy at home. There are two grandchildren.
