Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Klahn, Wheatland, will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 29 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Wheatland. Friends and family are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted.

The former Hazel Endorf and Mr. Klahn were married Jan. 31, 1934, in St. Paul’s Parsonage. They farmed in the Wheatland area their entire married life, moving to their present home in 1978. They are the parents of Mrs. George (Bethel) Russ of Wheatland; Alden of Clarence; Mrs. Verle (Nancy) Kleppe of Bennett and James of Wheatland. There are 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
