The Last Will & Testament Mrs. Fidelia Lane
I, Fidelia Lane of Clinton County, in the State of Iowa being of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all other wills by me at any time heretofore made.
I will and bequeath to my husband Woodrow Lane, all my worldly estate and property both personal and real and of every kind, name, and nature, monies, rights, credits and ?hoses in actions. The true intent of this will being to devise to my said husband, all my worldly effects no matter where the same may be situated, or what the nature of the same may be, to be his absolutely and forever.
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal at DeWitt in said county and state on the fifteenth day of October in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fifty seven.

The above instrument was signed sealed, published & declared by the above named Fidelia Lane to be her last will and testament in the presence of us, the undersigned xxxxxx who xxxx at the request of the said Fidelia Lane, hereto set our names as witness hereto in the presence of said testatrix and in the presence of each other on this 15th day of October AD 1857

I, Loring Wheeler, Clerk of the county court in and for the said county hereby certify that the forgoing will was this day proven in open court to be the last will and Testament of Fidelia Lane and ordered to be recorded as such given under my hand and seal of the county court of said county at DeWitt this 10th day of September AD 1858.Loring Wheeler, clerk
