The Clinton Morning Age Thursday June 17, 1897 At high noon Wednesday, Sidney Cropley of Chicago and Miss Julia Crowley of this city, were married at St. Patrick's church, by the Rev. Father Murray, in the presence of a large number of friends. The bride was attended by Miss Margaret Flynn, while J.G. McGrath acted as groomsman. After the ceremony the wedding party drove to the Revere, where a wedding dinner was served. The bride is the daughter of Timothy Crowely and is a young lady who counts her friends by the score. The groom is connected with the Chicago Times-Herald and is said to be a young many of sterling qualities. The happy couple left on the afternoon train for Chicago, and after a few days stay in that city expect to go to England, where the groom has financial interests.
