The Clinton Herald Monday August 20, 1965 p. 6 On a wedding trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico, are William Alfred Kramer and his bride, the former Elizabeth Pearl DeFarkas of New York City. Vows were solemnized at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Richard Dempsey officiating. James Winn was organist. The bride is the daughter of Tibor Paul DeFarkas of New York City and Mrs. Faye Bogard DeFarkas of Wilmington, Del. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Jay Martin Kramer of Elvira Road. A white peau sole gown with long pointed sleeves and fitted bodice was chosen by the bride. She wore a waist length chantilly lace mantilla and carried amazon lilies and stephanotis with springier foliage. Attending the bride were Miss Kathe DeFarkas of New York City, maid of honor; and Charmaine Miner of Darien, Conn., Joan Martin of Augusta, Me., and Mary Kramer of Clinton, bridesmaids. They wore identical floor length gowns in pink and raspberry silk organza and headpieces of deep rose velvet bows. Miss DeFarkas carried deep rose tuberoses and others light pink glamellias. The bridegroom's attendants were Larry Kramer of Clinton, best man; and Chuck DeFarkas of New York City, Ward Riedesel of Clinton, Bob Pahnke of River Grove, Ill., Dick Beal of Clinton, Gary Mittelbusher of Davenport and Dave Bacon of Sylvania, Ohio. The reception was held at the Clinton Country Club. After Sept. 14 the couple will reside at 201 W. 17th St., Dubuque. The bride was graduated from Garland Junior College with an A.S. in interior design. She will be assistant librarian at the University of Dubuque, where Mr. Kramer is a senior. (with photo)
