The Clinton Herald Friday September 10, 1965 p. 4 St. Paul's Catholic Church in Davenport provided the setting Sept. 1 for the marriage of Miss Mary M. Carruthers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul DePardo, Ottumwa, and Robert D. Kearney, son of the Francis Kearney’s, DeWitt. A gown of organza over taffeta, with fitted bodice, bateau neckline and elbow sleeves edged with Venise lace, was worn by the bride. A wedding ring headpiece trimmed with matching lace held her three roses. Maid of honor was Miss Micheline Beauregard - Beaupre of tier veil, and she carried white Quebec, Canada, and bridesmaid was the bridegroom's sister, Miss Susan Kearney. They wore floor length gowns of cafe au lait sheer over taffeta and carried bronze and yellow mums. Thomas Kearney was best man and ushers were Richard Kearney and Robert Theil. The bridegroom is employed by PerMar Investigation Service and is a student at St. Ambrose College in Davenport. They are residing in the Trailer Village at Davenport.
