The Clinton Herald Tuesday January 8, 1963 p. 3 Miss Kathryn E. Arnold, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Arnold of Moline, Ill., became the bride of Michael T. Mallary, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Mallary of Cordova, Ill., at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Church in Moline. Msgr. F.P. Biecke performed the ceremony. The bride is a graduate of Mount St. Clare Academy. The bridegroom is employed at the new Nitrin plant near Cordova. Following the wedding trip the couple will be at home on Route 1, Cordova. The bride wore a floor length gown of lace over satin fashioned with scalloped neckline adorned with sequins and crystals, and long tapered sleeves. A crown of crystals held her veil in place. she carried a white orchard on a prayer book. Miss Martha Mallary of Cordova, sister of the bridegroom was the maid of honor. She wore a dress of pink chiffon and a pink satin headpiece fashioned in leaves. Her flowers were white carnations in a colonial arrangement. Peter Mallary of Cordova served his brother as best man. Ushers were James Arnold of Moline and John Mallary of Cordova. A reception followed in the home of the bride's parents.
