James Cockfield, the new master mechanic of the C N. & Railway, is in this city, and has taken charge of the office made vacant by the resignation of Robert Quayle. Mr. Cockfield is a gentlemen of wide experience, of a pleasing address, and one whom is safe to say will soon become a favorite not only with the company, but with the men under him.
