The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 27, 1891

James Coyle, alias “Steubenville Jim,” an old timer in these parts, was on Fourth Street yesterday full to the neck. He imagined he was John L. Jr., and wanted to fight badly. Capt. Joe Moran led him by the ear to the city jail and he will have an opportunity to explain matters to his honor this morning.
