The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 23, 1891

Conductor Harvey Hyde, of the Rock Island Road, jumped from his train at Welton on Saturday last and broke his leg. The accident was not noticed at the time and he lay on the ground for an hour before he was found.
