The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, April 18, 1884

At the contest for the championship for Clinton County, the medal for the best roller skater was awarded to Mr. Will Nugent. For six months Mr. Nugent must hold this medal subject to challenge, and he is bound to give any person who wishes to compete with him, a chance for the medal. Clinton County is full of skatorial medals and prize cups, and the persons who have none are as scares as oysters in August.
