The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, June 15, 1883

Monday morning inst., H. B. Sutherland Esq., led to the hymnal altar Miss Helena June, of this city. The ceremony was performed at the residence of the bride’s sister, Mrs. J. B. D. Williams, by Rev. James Trumble, of St. John’s Church. Only the relatives and a few personal friends witnessed the ceremony. A large lot of handsome presents were bestowed upon the happy couple and a sumptuous wedding breakfast was furnished by the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Sutherland departed on the train for Delavan, Wis., where they will spend the summer, returning in the fall to this city which will be their future home. The entire community congratulate the “Judge” and his fair bride and wish them a long life and a merry one.
