The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, February 11, 1881

Henry Taylor, the small pox patient, died Tuesday evening. He caught the infection, not, by being around where clothing was, but by taking the Doctor’s coat and wearing it. There is now not a single case of small pox or varioloid in the city.
