The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, February 11, 1881

The Negro, Dave Winfield, became too harsh, Monday, and deliberately broke with his fist, a large pane of glass in Spoorman’s saloon. Dave was rushed into the cooler by Marshall Whitson.
