The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 29, 1875

Dan Richardson, conductor of the Cedar Rapids freight train, was badly bruised up on Monday last, by his car being thrown from the track by a broken rail near Silver Creek, just west of Dewitt. Dan is peculiarly unfortunate, this being the third of fourth injury that he has received in a like manner during his railroad career. We hope his injuries will not prove serious.
