No Water in Thirty Years

Because his son was drowned and the shock was the cause of his wife’s death, old Joshua Reddick, who died recently at Lefler’s Station, did not touch water for thirty years before his death. At the death bed of his wife he made the vow, which for half a lifetime he never broke.
