PETER DIERKS, farmer, Sec. 26; P. O. Lyons; born in October, 1824, in Germany; in 1852, came to Clinton Co. He owns 383 acres of land; is School Trustee; has been President of the School Board. Married Margaret Fauk in 1849; she was born in 1829, in Germany; have eight children-Hans, John, Catharine, Anna, Margaret, Henry, Herman and Peter.
