If possible if have as early as 1840 when Thomas WISHART had land in Turkey Junction, Clayton Co., Iowa.
Was there by 1839 and Thomas died or murdered 1840 and left widow, Barbary, Children, Elizabeth, Solomon, Jane "Jennie", Thomas Jr., Elijah also know as Edward H.. Both names also in his Civil War Papers.
