An update on The parents of Eliza Jane Snow Carner. She and Hirum Carner were not married in Cass Township, Clayton County, Iowa but across the river in Jo Davies County, Illinois. I also finally found her parents. They were William Snow and Melvilla Little, both from Kentucky, who were married about 1836 in Sangamon County, Ill. and who are both buried in the Weston Cemetery, in Jo Davies County, Ill.
