James, In response to your notation on Anna Suepke. I am almost convinced that it is the spelling of her name that is making it hard for me to get anywhere with her side of genealogy. I will appreciate any help you can give me. IN turn let me know what you need and perhaps I can be of help.
I come from the Frank side of the family. He was Annas fourth son and only 2 when she died in 1871. Her first son died when he was young, John P. was her second, Joachim was the third and Frank the fourth. Heinrich, the 5th son died at birth and is buried with his mother.
