In Response To: Haevelmann, Hoffelmann Families (Carole Harrington)

Hi Carole,
We do some family research for my maiden name Haevelmann. All over Germany there are less than 20 families or singles with that surname actually. All of them have their origin in south-western corner of state Mecklenburg, village Bresegard close to Eldena. Family appears first time occasionally of some sort of a census in 1704.
In German her name would be Maria Wilhelmina H.
Don't you have any evidences of real spelling her surname? It's very important, because there are thousands of Hoevelmanns, Havemanns and so on.
Would appreciate reading from you again.
So long, Thea H.
