Family Photos

KLEINPELL, KILLEN

I am a regular auction attendees and some time ago purchased a box of books containing the book "In the Shadow" by Eugene Kleinpell. This is a history of his service as president of University of Wisconsin-River Falls. A clipping of his obituary was tucked into the book along with several photos of children. Eugene was born in 1903 (he was an only child) and from his obituary, it looks like he and his wife Dorothy had no children.

Two of the photos identify the children as Eugene Kleinpell and Ellen Killen. One must have been taken when they were about 3 years old (?1906?) and the second when they were 7 or 8 years old (1910?).

We would like to see that these photos make it into the hands of some family member that might appreciate them. Is there a family member still in Monona or the surrounding area?
