Edgewood, IA museum - invite & need for items

Hello, my name is Bart Hamlett and I was born and raised in Edgewood, Iowa. I have been interested in history, genealogy and old stuff most of my adult life. A group of us have recently got together and have gotten the wheels rolling on getting a museum opened in Edgewood. We invite anyone and everyone who has an interest in history or Edgewood to join us. We have a building and at this time starting to remodel it and are getting the initial startup items taken care of. What I am looking for is any old photos, newspapers, articles, scrapbooks, postcards, memorabilia, store giveaways, pens/pencils, advertising, and just about anything related to Edgewood. Can be anything from the 1850's up to current time, as history is only a day old. I understand that many people do not want to part with their items and I understand that. We will make copies and/or pay for copies of old photos, postcards etc. Please contact me if you have something you think we may be interested in.
