Eric & Anna Nilson

NILSON, ANDERSDOTTER, NELSON

Hello!
My name is Jesper Bjarnestam and I´m a genealogical researcher in Stockholm,
Sweden. I recently found out that my grandfathers grandfathers father Eric
Nilson and his wife Anna Nilson and their son Aaron Nilson were living in
Mendon, Clayton, Iowa in 1870 (according to the 1870 US Federal Census). At
the moment, I´m really excited about this and ofcourse I want to know more
about their whereabouts. According to the census, Aaron was a clergyman in
Mendon. He was born in Sweden in 1841 and I know that he died in Kansas in
1904. I also know that Eric died in 1886, but not where, and that Anna
(whose full name was Anna Lisa Andersdotter/Nilson) died in 1894 in
Minnesota. Could Eric Nilson (Nilson sometimes written Nelson) be buried
somewhere in Clayton county, possibly in Mendon? And is it possible to find
out anything more about him, his wife or son, and possible relatives to them
in the US today? Perhaps Aaron was a clergyman at the Swedish Lutheran
church? All help is greatly appreciated!
Best wishes
Jesper
