Dear Kristy,

I think I may be able to help you a little bit regarding William Mundt. William (or Wilhelm) was my great-great uncle. Born 30 May 1865 in Grebs, Mecklenburg; died 27 May 1948 in Pierre, SD. He was a banker/real estate agent. As far as I know, his wife's name was Mary Ann Tebo, born on 19 September 1868 in Wisconsin; she died in the State Hospital in Yankton, SD on 8 May 1940. (I have a copy of her hospital portfolio if you'd like it.) They were married on 24 Septebmer 1894 and had one child, Wilbur, who moved to California back in the 1930s. I don't know what happened to him. Is this your connection to the Mundts?

William actually had two elder siblings (John and Henry) in addition to the ones you listed. Henry (Heinrich) was my great-grandfather. I have lots of info on the Mundts, including the family's roots in Germany. We have even revived a relationship with living relatives back in Mecklenburg (the Tiedes--wonderful people).
