Rob Roy Ferry, 1929 & Indian Isle

ROB ROY FERRY INDIAN ISLE

Does anyone have information about a ferry at McGregor, Iowa that was called Rob Roy Ferry? My mother has a snapshot of it taken on a new camera her sister was given in 1929. In discussing the Rob Roy Ferry, the island in the Mississippi River by McGregor called Indian Isle (we think) came up. Does anyone have information on it? Was it an Iowa island or a Wisconsin island and did they gamble there or have a hotel/motel that you could stay at? Neither I or my husband can remember anything of it other than the name and you had to take a boat to get there. Would love to read some history on both things. Where did the Rob Roy Ferry go, Praire du Chien? When was the Prairie Bridge built? I could go on and on but will limit myself to these questions in hope someone can answer.
