Looking for more information on the Royse/Royce and Blaisdell (various spellings) familys of northeast Iowa or southwest Wisconsin. Solomon and Sally Royse/Royce children were James (a Mrs. James Royce buried in Oakland-Main Cemetery, Allamakee County), Sally Jane (married Nathaniel Blaisdell), Amanda (married David Freeman), William, Hiram, and Noah all born between 1828 and 1849. Known to have been involved in transportation, i.e. ferry between NE Iowa and Wisconsin and stage coach driver, blacksmith. Solomon b. abt 1803 is in Iowa 1840 and 1850 census but can't be found after that. No death or burial information. Sally b. abt 1805 believed to have died about 1857. Sally Jane is in both 1850 Wisconsin and Iowa Census'. Any type of info or lead would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Mike Peterson
