County Corners Methodist Church

I am looking for history of the County Corners Methodist Church which was
located in Cass Twp. Clayton co. near the four county corners. The cemetery
still exists but the church building was sold. I would like to find how
long it existed and what I can about its membership and pastors. There are
many members of my husband's family buried in that cemetery and family
records mention it frequently but without details. I have asked around for a
picture and only drew blanks. I have one news article my mother-in-law
clipped from unknown source sometime around 1950 that says the building was
sold and bought by a local Methodist congregation who sold it to a farmer.
My husband and his cousins recall it as the typical of the time box shaped
church with a steeple and windows on the side, perhaps an entry area. They
remember it as a fairly large building. Is there any mention of it in the
1916 [history of Clayton co.] book?
